Data Product Specification
The data product specification is a key output of the project, collaboratively developed by all the institutes involved to provide specific technical guidance for representing a geographical zone. This document includes information on zone characterisaton, data content and structure, reference systems, data quality aspects, data capture, mainteinance, delivery and metadata.
It adhers to International standards for data product specifications “ISO 1931:2007/Amd. 1:2011(E) Geographic information – Data product specification”.
Throughtout the project timeline, several versions of the document were produced:
- Ver 1.1 Developed during the second year and presented at the first study visit at the EpiCentre in New Zealand;
- Ver 1.2 Produced at the beginning of the 2023 during the study visit at the USDA-APHIS-VS-CEAH-(USA), working on the ver 1.1;
- Ver 1.3 Resulting from the meeting at the NARO/MAFF Institute in Japan, which took place in April 2023;
- Ver 1.4 The output of the meeting with the IZS in Teramo, organized in May 2023;
- Ver 2.0 During the online meeting with CIRAD (France), discussion on certain clauses of the previous document led to the production of the 2.0 version of the Data Product Specifcation;
- Ver 2.1 and Ver 2.2 Outputs of the two-days meeting with WOAH headquartes and with the technician, focusing on identifying key chapter and presentating all previous work;
- Ver 4.0 The latest version, revised and approved during a specific meeting that involved at least one representative per Collaborating Centers (CC). This meeting was organized in conjunction with the GeoVet Conference 2023 in Silvi Marina (Teramo – Italy).
